Welcome Back Bombers!  I want to update you on a few things as we begin another year together.

First, we have a few new staff members joining us this year.  Please help me welcome:

Renee Doering - educational aide

Michelle Goodwin - cafe aide

Tiffany Plaugher - educational aide

Andrew Pizzulo - treasurer

In addition, Mrs. Angie Weden will be teaching 3rd grade at KT this year.  While we loved her in her science/STEM role, we know she’s going to be amazing in 3rd grade as well!  

We have had the opportunity to partner with the Cleveland Browns this year and their “Stay in the Game” network.  This network connects us with schools all over Ohio as well as the Browns and ways we can reward students for great attendance and improved attendance.  The principals and I will be sharing out various events and contests for students throughout the year where they can earn prizes and even tickets to home football games!  WOW!  

In the spring, the Board of Education adopted a three year strategic plan.  This plan guides our work over the next three years and what we will focus our time, energy and resources on to continue to grow as a district.  You will be seeing more about this and even asked to volunteer for some committees.  We welcome feedback to get better everyday.  If you feel you could be an asset to one of our committees by providing feedback, I encourage you to sign up when opportunities are posted and available!  

We have an exciting fall planned and already in full swing.  Our band has been busy practicing since July and our fall sports teams - volleyball, golf, cheer and football, have been busy preparing for their seasons.  I hope you will come out and support our students in their events throughout the year!
