Throughout history, humans have faced the need to measure and communicate about time, quantity, and distance.  For college and carreer readiness, math skills are imperitive.  Good math skills come to those with a strong mathematical base to build on.  We are building that, so very important base, THIS YEAR!  The most important thing you can do to help yourself in math this year is to focus on mastering all multiplication and division  facts as quickly as possible.  We will be moving on to double digit multiplication, long division, and reducing fractions, as well as, problem solving. All which utilize these skills.
