Attention Windham Families!  Starting this week-we will have our student food pantry up and running again.  We will do things a little differently this year due to COVID.  Instead of the students shopping like in years past, we will have bags prepackaged for any student who wants one.  At the JH/HS building, the bags will be located by the exit doors on Thursday for the Yellow/Gold group and Friday for the Black/Bomber group.  At KT, they will be placed in the students locker/cubby during the day to bring home after school.  

If your child is totally remote, you may stop by the board office on Friday, September 25 between 8AM and 3PM and we will have a bag prepared for you to take.  We will have food each Friday for families who are totally remote in the board office for pick up.  Please stop by between these hours each week to pick up a bag.  

If you are a parent of a KT student and you do NOT want your child getting a bag of food, there will be a letter coming home this week for you to fill out so we know NOT to give your child food.  ALL children at KT will get a bag of food each week unless you tell us NOT to do this.  

As this is new for many families we also wanted to give you a sample of what a bag might contain.  Please note this is just a sample.

Weekend bag:  Box/bag of cereal, pasta, canned vegetables, peanut butter, snack foods (crackers, cookies, etc)

These items will change weekly based on donations we get from the Akron Food Bank, the Ben Curtis Foundation and local donations.  This is just one more way to support our students and families.  GO BOMBERS!!!!
