Dear Parents, Students and Community:
They say hope springs eternal, so our hope for the 2021 school year is that some semblance to normalcy will soon return. As we approach the end of the first semester and begin the second semester I want to congratulate our students, staff, and parents for the resilience they have continually demonstrated throughout all of the challenges the 2020 school year has brought.
Students will begin the second semester on Tuesday, January 19 following the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Students needing a new schedule for the second semester can obtain one from Ms. Gainard or the main office. Semester one report cards will be mailed out on Friday, January 22.
It is my continued hope that everyone remains safe as we proceed to navigate the challenges of providing a safe learning environment for our students. Our students social-emotional and physical well being remains a high priority for our entire staff. Please continue to check our school website for updates to decisions made regarding in-person and remote learning. Safety of our students and staff remains our number one priority.
We will continue to communicate with students and families in multiple ways. Please continue to check the school website, establish correspondence with your child’s teachers and sign up for classroom Remind and Google classroom parent access. If you have any questions or concerns about having contact with the school or child’s teacher please contact me.
