Next Generation Assessments

The Next Generation Assessments (NGA) are Ohio's new state-mandated assessments.  They provide results that are reported on the Local Report Card for grades 3-8 and select high school courses (starting with the Class of 2018).

The NGA's have replaced the current Ohio Achievement Assessment (OAA) and the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) for the Class of 2018 and beyond. The company who creates these tests, American Institute of Research (AIR), has fully replaced PARCC in the state of Ohio and encompasses English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.
