The Windham Exempted Village Schools use the following "guidelines" for cancelling school due to temperature. 

An ambient temperature of -10 degrees and a wind chill of between -15 and -18 degrees.

Today, the ambient temperature at 7:00 a.m. was 11 degrees with a wind chill of 9 degrees.  At 3:00 p.m. the ambient temperature was 10 degrees with a wind chill of 3 degrees.  

Tomorrow the forecast is an ambient temperature of -2 degrees with a wind chill of -22 degrees.  Therefore, the Windham Exempted Village Schools will be closed on Friday, January 5, 2018. 

All events are cancelled for Friday and Saturday in the Windham Exempted Village Schools, including the boys' basketball game vs. Lordstown.
