2011-2012 Back to school information

School is right around the corner and in preparation for the year here are some important details:

For the 2011-2012 school year there will be an adjustment in the start time at Katherine Thomas Elementary. School at Katherine Thomas will now start at 9:00 a.m. with the doors opening for breakfast at 8:20 a.m. Dismissal times at Katherine Thomas will remain the same with car riders being dismissed at 3:05 p.m., walkers and bus riders being dismissed at 3:15 PM.
The Junior/Senior High School will start at the same time as last year, 7:40 a.m. and end of the day will be 2:39 p.m. Breakfast will be served starting at 7:10 a.m. at the high school and junior high.
Open house dates are September 8^th at the Junior Senior High School and September 15^th at Katherine Thomas Elementary.
Classroom assignments will be posted on the front doors by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23rd.
Free student back packs with supplies for all students in grades 1 - 5. Katherine Thomas received a generous donation from United Stationers Supply Company of back packs which include: ruler, pencil box, markers, crayons, erasers, pencils, paper, folders, and spiral notebook. We very much appreciate the donation! (Please note, individual teachers may have further supply needs not covered by the back pack and students will be notified upon the beginning of the school year of additional needs).
The first day of school will be Friday, August 26^th.
