Join the students and staff at Windham Junior/Senior High School for a celebration of the A’s: Athletics, Academics, and the Arts! On Sunday, May 20 from 2:30 PM-4:00 PM, the JR/SR High will be open to families and community members to take a gallery walk around the building to view student work from all grade levels. The featured programs will have make-n-take stations for families to make their own creations, and there will be raffle giveaways!
Featured work includes:
- STEM: 3-D printed designs, student- created & programmed cars, architecture plans, and so much more!
- Art: Art pieces and photography designs from some of our most talented artists!
- Performing Arts: Band, choir, and a cappella choir will be playing and singing all around the building!
- The drama club will be performing the plays, The Necklace and Senior Year Survivor“ at 4:00 PM in the cafeteria!
- Admission is $5.00
- Athletics: Highlights from all seasons, coaches of the year, individual awards, and a high-jump demonstration by Junior, Aaron Blevins!
- Academics: Senior highlights, a wax museum, gene mutation creations, ziggurats, salt dough landforms, stories written by our students, history day projects, HPAC grant projects and so much more!
The celebration starts in the Hangar and will continue throughout the building. It’s an open house- style event where you will interact with students and staff at your leisure.
